The quickest way to get to Sun Moon Lake is to take the HSR from the airport going to Taichung you can book your ticket online and get the printed ticket at the station. From Taichung HSR station you go to ground floor and look for the bus going to Sun Moon Lake (the Nan Tou Bus) they have package tours for Sun Moon Lake which you can choose.
