I saw a report about this place on German TV and added it to my bucket list. The „village“ isn’t very big, but it’s worth to see the colorful naive paintings on the old barracks which were done by an old retired soldier.

Great spot for photos but don’t go early in the afternoon or you will be swarmed by people! The area is very small with just one or two shops. Definitely unique though. We stopped by for a detour on the way to Kenting from Taipei....More
