一般遊客中心就是提供旅遊資訊，或提供當地的介紹影片，但大稻埕遊客中心很不一樣，規劃5大復古場景，仿造以前大稻埕的中藥行、喫茶店、治裝所、燈苑與公學校等。2樓規劃有「客安中藥行」、「春生喫茶店」及「菊元治裝所」，3樓則規劃為「永樂燈苑」以及「稻江公學校」等。遊客除了可自由拍照外，也可到「菊元治裝所」租借復古服飾，像是旗袍或復古學生服等拍照。只是復古服飾換裝體驗採固定場次，採網路預約和現場登記，但由於每場次人數有限制，所以最好先網路預約。
