It is a popular place so its very crowded and quite dirty. Many empty beer bottle and bag they left them behind on the sand or even on the rock.

This was the 5th beach we visited in Bali and it was one of the cleaner ones. No trash, and the water was perfect. Added bonus: monkeys line the stairs on your way down to the beach. Hang on to those sunglasses tight!

The beach is rather famous and near our hotel. There is a long staircase to the small beach. The sand is relatively white but unfortunately the water had litter in it. There were guys trying to clear some of it. What a pity that Bali's beaches are not clean. After a dirty beach it is a long way back up... More

If you are not a surfer, I think it's safe to say that this beach is not worth coming to. It's far too small and crowded.

Make sure you do your research and check tide times before coming here! It is a very small beach and so when the tide is in there is no beach there at all. I was really excited to visit this beach but when we got there I was so disappointed as we couldn't see any sand at all! This was... More

My driver and I stopped here after a long walk at Uluwatu temple and it was awesome!! lots of people, amazing vibe but a small space and little beach area to relax in. The majority of everyone was all standing in the water socializing and you can walk out pretty far. There is no shade, ALOT of stairs and naughty... More

We wanted to go explore this so called hidden away beach in Bali, so we took our scooter and rode all the way there. The location is perfect and the waters are really clear with white sand rubbing at your soles. You sort of have to navigate a small cave (very easy, not uncomfortable at all) to reach the beach... So this is a small-ish beach with amazing water. On the left, there are huge caves that have bats. On the right, you can wade through the water until you see a reef that you can stand on - it's amazing. Fisherman stand there and fish. The water is clear and warm - perfect for getting into. There are parts... More
