About
Dive deep into the eventful and interesting story of the Finnish book! The main exhibition tells the tale of the Finnish book from incunabula to the e-book. It gives a voice to people interested in books, including readers, librarians, printers and publishers. The exhibition also highlights the links between books and the development of schools, churches, politics and the entire society. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place might be good, but only if you understand Finnish. Nothing at all in any other languages. Not even in the second national language, Swedish.

This museum is located in a tiny town of Sastamala but if you happen to be in Tampere area it's really worth the effort to make a trip here. The exhibition is very well made and it appeals to both old and young. One of the best items is a giant book that you can literally crawl through!
