We stayed here 3nights at jungle side bungalow. Beautiful isolated beach resort abaut 45min from Port Barton. Staff here is so friendly, layback and helpfull. For 20€/night we had everything we needed. Theres no roosters or no dogs(sometimes one dog wondered there from nearby fishing village), so its quiet, also at night and morning. There aint so much things to... More

First off, we left two days early and they were great about not charging us for the nights we had previously booked. The person through whom we booked the room was very prompt and helpful over email in the days leading up, but he doesn't actually work at blue cove. Long story short, blue cove is in terrible shape. We... More

Booked several days here as well as the boat trip, and at the suggestion of Sam (SAM SANTOS Emaill:bluecoveisland@yahoo.com.ph) I paid in advance through Paypal. As a veteran traveler to Phils I admit I was a bit nervous about this but also did not wish to carry a lot of cash. Circumstances beyond my control cancelled our trip and I... More

It's sad to experience a resort spoiled with a awesome beach and such stunning natural beauty, being so poorly managed. Our arrival excitement, was disturbed by a unwelcoming attitude from the staff. It seems like they prefer seeing people leave than to see them arrive. The staff generally seem demotivated, forgetful, and in some cases they made up stories why... More

I only had lunch there while snorkeling. Food was more than ok, but (although we were the only clients) it took ages to get it (about 1h, and staff was missing during that time to order fresh drinks (maybe busy prepping food :-)). Cottage looked nice from the outside but they look better on their ad's ;-) Still nice &... More

My husband and I spent 4 rainy days at the Blue Island Cove and it was an adventure. There was a typhoon north so the weather was not great. It was warm, but cloudy and off and on rain. We arrived very late the first night and were greeted by the owner who was waiting to make us dinner. The... More

If you are looking for Hotel Class Accomodation, stay in the City and leave more room for those that truly want a unique tropical experience. The food was arguably the best we had in the Philippines, which is generally very good. Make no mistate, if you are wanting a little R & R and not too precious about accomodation, then... More

I normally don't bother writing reviews, but since I went to the Blue Cove after reading a lot of positive ones, I feel like I must do so to clarify some things. First of all, the island is beautiful (the resort is on an island 30 minutes from Port Barton). Having said that, I would not recommend anyone to go... More
