Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The view was fantastic! We took a lot of photos and we learned a lot about the history of this historic place. You have to walk to go till the ned but you will love it!

While the Lighthouse itself it not spectacular, the surrounding area offer fanastic views. The height of the cliffs can make you knees buckle.

I walked to the lighthouse from Mykonos Town as a cloudy day activity (having already had my fill of wandering the streets of Mykonos Town the previous cloudy day). I walked there via the new port and Agios Stefanos and had a paddle on the beach at Agios Stefanos before going uphill and inland to the lighthouse. This route involved some very steep hills and it took me about 2 hours in total, including stopping to to take in the views/recover from the hills. On the way back I stayed on the inland roads which were undulating but a little less steep and mostly downhill on the way home, taking about an hour and a half. The walk itself was interesting to do to see some small farms and lots of building sites (building more villas) once you get out of the main touristy areas, there were even some cows wandering in the road. But it is also not the nicest road you will walk and there is an awful lot of rubbish which ruins it somewhat.
The lighthouse is interesting, but the main point of going there is to see the views, which were good on a cloudy day so I expect would be stunning on a clear day. It is very windy, but you can get into to some shelter behind the rocks and sit and enjoy the view. There are no amenities or on the way, so bring water and snacks.

Worth a visit. Lovely views and nice structure. You can't go inside. You don't need long. Be careful the walk and small climb is very easy but the issue can be the wind especially when it is strong. I am very slim and almost blew away. Hold hats or better still leave them in the car. It was really windy when we went.

It is a nice sightseeing. It is a little bit windy, but the view is outstanding. You can see from there Tinos , Syros and Delos islands.

We walked from Mykonos Town to the landmark. Would definitely recommend if you’re relatively fit. Some awesome views around the lighthouse of the deep blue sea and neighbouring islands.

It is not far away from Mykonos town. With ATVs is easy, but one can go with car without problems. The lighthouse itself is not in a good shape, but surrounding view is breathtaking. Just Great.

this is a run down light house on a deserted headland on NW Myknos, about 20 mins fro the town by car. It can get very windy up there, but great views
