The Roost winery went above and beyond to accommodate us. Everything was seamless from the reservations online to showing up during Covid times. We were running late for our 4:15 reservation. I called to ask if they could move us back and they indicated they could move us to 4:45 even though they were closing at 6pm. Upon arrival they so kind and accommodating. Kayleigh welcomed us and Heather served our wine tasting outside on the high top tables even though it was a cool evening. She gave us an incredible tasting . I have had wine tastings all over the province and Hether's knowledge and expertise and customer service was above and beyond anything I have experienced. I would highly recommend The Roost in an absolute heartbeat. You made our weekend so special! Thank you to Heather and the team at The Roost for your incredible hospitality. We will definitely be back and be sure to tell all of our friends! Much Love!

We had the loveliest time at this winery - a hidden gem in the area. Their attention to detail is evident everywhere, including pandemic protocols that put us at ease for an indoor wine tasting in their beautiful restored barn/tasting room. Moreover, when dark storm clouds rolled in and we received tornado warnings on our phones the owner graciously moved everyone downstairs to wait out the storm and do an impromptu winery tour. The wines exceeded our expectations and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive. And the cheese plate was so good! Highly recommend.

We arrived with no reservation just after opening time. Offered opportunity to have service inside or outside. We opted for package of 4 wine samples and cheese board, Server was very knowledgable; great suggested order to our choices of white wines. Pleasant experience. Bought two bottles of Two wrongs make a white after an excellent sample. Good variety on cheese board too. Pleasant room with good allowance for covid-19 proper care.

Hello Maureen, thank you for your detailed review. We're delighted to hear you had a good time at The Roost and will pass this on to your server. We are pleased we were able to accommodate you when you arrived. In the future we do strongly recommend a reservation to avoid disappointment because we are usually not able to take walk-ins, especially with the current restrictions. Enjoy your Two Wrongs Make a White, we look forward to seeing you again!

We arrived at Roost early for our reservation but they allowed us in with no trouble. Between my friend and and I we tasted eight of their wines, all of which had their own quirks and delights. We ended up buying three. The wines were generous pours and the staff were able to answer both our naive and sophisticated questions. We also had their delicious cheese and charcuterie plate, which they split between the two of us. And we got the tasting glasses for free (because they didn't want to have to sanitize them afterwards - very clever). Only downside is the prices - this is a boutique winery and you pay for that. But the vista from the winery is pleasant and as I said, the product was excellent.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit, the location and the wines, and will pass your kind words to our service team. Regarding pricing, Roost wines have won awards nationally and internationally and are made with minimal intervention in small batches, from grapes that are sustainably grown in challenging conditions. All of our wines except one are priced below $30 and our prices reflect the work and attention to detail that goes into crafting them. We hope that you'll be back in the future for more of the wines, vistas and service.

We loved the Roost. Other than the challenge of trying to book a reservation (which they accepted even though it didn't quite go through) we had a lovely time. The wine selections were good and the charcuterie board though a little small was tasty. We even bought a couple of bottles of wine. The barn was comfortable and they were following the COVID protocols. Overall a great experience.
