We thoroughly enjoyed walk up to the cave and i am sure the toll money is used to keep path in good condition. Steph our guide was excellent and helps out with cave and mountain rescue so you are in good hands. At the time of our visit there were no other visitors so we had a private tour almost.... More

Fantastic experience caving with Jude via her company Clapham Adventure. She is a super guide - full of enthusiasm and very informative about the cave. Great value for money as well, highly recommended!

The beauty of this cave is that it has easy access with a level concrete path all the way through the system, and only two short sections where tall people need to stoop down. The bad part is the long (half hour) walk to get to the cave entrance via a 'toll path' where you must buy an additional ticket... More

After cancelled plans and some umming & arring of what to do, I came up with the suggestion of Ingleborough caves as I'd visited these over 20 years ago and enjoyed them. 20 years ago they had coloured lights in them and it was almost like a fairy's grotto. Thankfully now it's more natural. Steph, our guide was brilliant, easy... More

Short walk from Clapham, along a well maintained path. Hourly tours available during daylight hours. Great tour guide, John, very knowledgeable. Will bring my family to visit.

I loved this place. The dales were in full flood and the wind was strong. The cave is beautiful and our guide was a knowledgable scientist who loves his craft and ignited interest in the history of the formation of the caves in the area. I would recommend it to all nature lovers and families who like the outdoors. Thank... More

Recommend to visit the beautiful village of Clapham and visit this local attraction. A thirty minute gentle walk from the village and you arrive. Guided tours are on the hour and take forty five minutes. You do need to stoop in some areas, but worth it to see the inside of this cave and glimpse into our planets history. Hard... More

This is a great cave to visit. The tour guide (John) was knowledgeable, interesting and friendly, and really helped to explain the geology, geography and history in an understandable way. Quick note though, you need change for parking and to enter the trail, and it's a 30 minute walk up a track to the cave, so come prepared.

We had a wonderful afternoon walking to the cave. We wasn't expecting such a long walk to get to the cave as we had missed the sign stating so from the pay booth for the nature trail, but all the same it was a glorious walk with beautiful scenery. When we got to the cave we had just missed the... More

This cave was truly stunning and we were guided by John who was extremely knowledgeable and with a wicked sense of humour he had us sharing his genuine enthusiasm for caving within minutes of the tour starting! He made the tour worth every penny of our admission fee and gave us some helpful tips on what else to visit. Bear... More
