Seven friends out for High Tea. Served at 10am which I first thought was too early but the time was great, staying til 1pm giving you all afternoon free. Food was lovely and fresh. Our waiter was very attentive.

The tour of old Governmemt House is well worth it if you like a little of the old Australian History - it is genuine history with the add ons to the venue & lunch can be had there as well

Old Government House is the oldest surviving public building in Australia. Built by convicts back in colonial times, around 1800, it is an impressive place indeed. Australia does not really have too many such European historical places, and so this is one of the few....More

The rooms have been magnificently restord with furniture of the period and sometimes of the place. The guide I had was terrific (Andrew) and there is a great bookshop and eating place. OGH is a gem and thanks to The King's School, who leased it...More

This is a great location to step back in time and appreciate early Australia history. A large amount of history to see its easy to visit multiple times.

Nice bit of colonial history set in Parramatta Park. Lots of other pieces of early Sydney town also in Parramatta and worth a day trip for tourists and locals. Visit and learn and take lunch or high tea at the restaurant. Do a round trip...More
