If you ever get the chance when you are in Gainsborough go and spent an hour or so looking around this fine building. Steeped in history it has so much character that you will be spoilt with what you see.

We visited this magnificent old home on a beautiful sunny day. It was awesome walking all through the house, seeing the Great Hall, the medieval kitchen, and many other rooms, thinking of the history. We finished by having a lovely lunch in the hall's cafe.

What a fabulous & interesting medieval old hall. Had the audio tour which was a bit muddled - but the hall is quite large so plenty of rooms to see with volunteers dressed up in medieval clothing in some rooms to add authenticity. Can even...More
