Had a good time here. The show was a good standard but its all in French which wasn't a problem as you can still enjoy yourself. Towards the end of the show you get to hold and feed some of the birds. All the birds seemed happy which is always important for me. After the show is finished you get... More

Nice to see all these birds flying, this show is really well put together and I do not understand the negative comments from others Ta contributors : yes birds are enchained when they are not flying but they seem well treated. And they ways come back after they fly, which seems to say they are happy . The show is... More

Returned here with kids (11years old) some 20years after visiting originally. Great location, great flying displays, lots of birds to see. Would benefit from an English guidebook, as all presentation is in French.

I expected to see birds which were free to fly which is possible at such a big area. What I did saw was heartbreaking, birds of prey chained to the ground. Some owls into small cages. The birds of prey wanted to walk around which they could not cause they were forced to stay at one place. The show was... More

Don't get me wrong: I love zoos and birdparks and I'm not against keeping animals in captivity, as long as they're well taken care off, part of a breeding progam or have enough freedom to live a happy live. None of this at the Dungeon of Eagles, which name is more true than you can imagine. Big birds of pray... More

The bird's of prey show is excellent especially where they get a large number circling and swooping all together. Well worth a visit if you are in the area near to Lourdes

Lovely place, great birds of prey show - have been to others in France (one at Puy de Fou is amazing) but this one is just lovely and quite intimate - they make a real effort to show the birds to everyone. The presentation is in French but you will get the idea - and if they suggest you move... More

Best display of fantastic birds of prey I have seen, full 50 minute spectacle against the castle & beautiful mountain scenery. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth the trip. Look for signs to Donjon de Rapaces, ignore the less than inspiring sign at the entrance & enjoy the show. Lots of great photo opportunities too.

I have been to other bird flying shows but this is the best by a long way. The show (in French) starts off quite normally with a couple of hawks or falcons tracking down and grabbing snacks in flight. Pretty soon there are over a dozen birds of prey flying in all directions. They are just too fast to photograph!... More

Set in a ruin not far from Argeles-Gazost is this excellent bird show. There are around 50 species here and the bird show itself includes many of them. For the number of birds in a single show this was by far the biggest with a dozen eagles out at once and dozens of parrots. There were some interesting birds showcasing... More
