If your fitness level allows do the trek through the jungle and not by the steps.Preferably take a guide from your hotel. Its tough, wear a full sleeve and full pants as there are insects and leeches.

It is a tough trek but everyone in my family and friends group climbed it. Unlike other temple walks which are only about religion this one is also very photogenic and adventurous.

the temple is located in the best possible place atop the mountains. But too many people, both tourists and pilgrims mar the peace and beauty of this place. I would not go again.
