The parc used to be indeed a small piece of jungle at the doors of the chaotic San Gil. Some trees are still beautiful. However, mismanagement of the direction of the parc destroyed it: they put electric cables in the trees for a night show, music everywhere, a swimming pool that does not belong to such a place (it was... Apart for the naturally beautiful setting, the locals offer great deals on physical activities, like rafting. So if you're an active, risk taking person you'll love it. For the calmer travellers, you get to visit and observe a variety of natural views.

A walk through this park is a pleasant way to spend an hour. It's an oasis of tranquility and an escape from the heat, particularly if you go early or late in the day.

I enjoyed strolling the park. It is not spectacular, but good for an hour or so. I loved the old trees with Spanish moss hanging on to them. At dusk some of the lanes are lit up by neon 'butterflies'.

Entrance fee, moss covered trees, can watch rafters coming down the river. The onsite reataurant serves tipical Santander plates, resonable prices, good food. Parking is a little difficult.

Very nice place to walk around and enjoy a few hours. The restaurant was amazing and all the plates were tasteful and very well priced. Do not miss their restaurant!

Thoroughly enjoyed wandering through this little paradise of winding cobbled paths. The plants are organised according to the botany of the different regions of santander, all with a jungle like feel. The glimpses of rivers tumbling over rocks between the trees are idyllic. Then there is the oasis of swimming pools and cafes in the middle. Well worth a visit... More

6000 cop entrance fee. Nice short walking but on Coble stone path might be difficult for some to navigate. Cool environment provided by trees.
