Magnificent monastery complex with St. John the Baptist church located in beautiful natural surroundings of the village Jasov is one of the top works of the Baroque in Slovakia. The complex has its origin deep in the Middle Ages and its attraction is that it has a symbolic 365 windows (as in days), 12 chimneys (as in months) and 4 entrances (like 4 seasons).

Na návštevu tohto kláštora sme sa chystali roku a ked sme sa dozvedeli, že organizujú pravidelné prehliadky,nemohli sme sa dočkať. Ešte je veľa toho na reštaurovanie, ale už sme videli potenciál, asi ako to bude nádherné celé vyzerať, keď to dokončia. Už len pohľad na interiér kostola nás ohromil. Je to skvost medzi kult. pamiatkami na východe slovenska

Az apátságot csak idegenveztéssel lehet megnézni. Ez kb. 1 órás. Szlovák vagy angol nyelvű idegenvezetés van. Ha valaki más nyelvet szeretne akkor 5 euróért lehet venni tájékoztató füzeteket. Az idegenvezetők amúgy nagyon kedvesek és segítőkészek.

ak už tu budete, rozhodne nevynechajte kláštor, ktorý je situovaný priamo v obci, blízko od hlavnej križovatky, vychýrená knižnica a stropné maľby a stropná výzdoba a bohatstvo interiéru kostola vo Vás zanechajú silné spomienky a na dlhé roky, prekvapujúco krásne
