Great time despite the very cold temperature!

The hot springs were very refreshing even tho it was -27 deg F out in early March, the water was very comfortable. They keep it max 105 deg F and there are many bathwater warm... read more

This was my first time to the springs. It was very rustic and fun. The Hot Springs were something I have never experienced.... as you step outside in the -20 degrees and walk into these hot springs it is crazy awesome. We were lucky we saw the northern lights band and some shooting stars. Rooms were basic but clean and... More

Visited for a 2nd time. Wonderful. First time went during new moon (dark sky). This time intentionally went during full moon to view and photograph Aurora with the snow and trees. Frankly, I recommend the new moon. But you don't know until you know. Hot water outdoor pool still as great as ever. Also, stayed in the Moose Lodge this... More

This was my second time here. I love it. Seeing the ice museum is a must. The lil restaurant is cute, rustic and had good food and drinks. Clean rooms. Love the Springs. Feels great.

The hot springs were very refreshing even tho it was -27 deg F out in early March, the water was very comfortable. They keep it max 105 deg F and there are many bathwater warm spots we hung around in. We stayed in for an hour at a time though we had to dunk our head under to thaw out... More

The best Alaskan & Spa Experience. Great for the relaxing hot springs and spa services but also offer dog sledding, snow monolingual, and many other adventure type tours. Great place to do it all.

If you are anywhere remotely close to Chena Hot Springs GO! Just go!! It's worth the drive I promise. Rooms are dated but the views and springs are just amazing. Very romantic with the champagne and fruit waiting in the room. That was a package my husband arranged to surprise me. Can't wait to go back.

You can spend days here and never run out of things to do. I had visited in the summer and loved it. This time I got to visit in the winter and it was even better. We did snow mobile, dog sled, ice museum, the aurora viewing. Can't wait to get back.

We spent two nights in a Fox Room and glad that we had the opportunity to experience Chena Hot Springs in the winter. It snowed most of the time we were there but there was a break one evening and the staff let us know that that the aurora was "out". Unfortunately it was quite faint that evening. Staff was... More

My family and I went to Chena Hot Springs in October for an evening trip while we were in Fairbanks for the weekend. It was an incredibly long drive down a narrow 2-lane road, so it took about an hour and a half to get there from Fairbanks. I'd never been there, so I didn't know what to expect. Once... More

We had a day to kill in Fairbanks so we booked on a day trip to the resort. Because the Chena Shuttle ran later than the brochure says we lost some time and did not do everything I would have liked. I was surprised at how many tour groups are bused out to Chena especially for northern lights viewing. This... More
