The walk to the top is lovely. The steps are not steep and there are plenty of places to rest in the shade. The view at the top is good but not spectacular. Unfortunately there is a pack of dogs at the entrance gate that...More

This was a lovely walk -- we went up spontaneously the evening we arrived. It's 501 steps, but they're short ones and not difficult, and there are charming phrases all along -- about not complaining (about 100 steps up) and then about death (300 steps...More

This absolutely stunning jungle temple is a must visit. It was peaceful and there were no crowds. Views from the top and of the mountain incredible. Do this as a day trip from Chiang Mai combined with the cave!

It is worth it to climb the more than 500 stairs up to this quiet and beautiful temple in the middle of wonderful nature! The stairs are excellent to walk, as they are quite new and even. You have a stunning view from the top....More

510 steps with Buddha's wisdom words. The view is very nice and it's quiet & peaceful. Not many people seem to know about this area.

Long stairs lead to the quiet temple. Great place to enjoy soaking up of beautiful scenery of green forests and listening birds' songs. Very nice atmosphere.

We got up early and caught a red truck up here and watched the monks blessing their breakfast. You have to be up there before 8am, so one for the early risers. Also girls, dress "modestly" no shorts or you will have to don a...More

It is peaceful and serene temple. I nearly give up at 250 steps but someone has encouraged me to continue. At the top of the cave temple has beautiful view. Excellent for meditation and praying. Worth to visit.

We went for a climb early in the morning after our breakfast. It was a tiring long climb but we'll worth it. The view from the top is breathtaking and the temple is so peaceful and relaxing. It's a great place to come to clear...More

The temple at the top is nothing overly special, nor is the view, but the climb itself through the peaceful forest is really nice. There are signs with Buddhist sayings all along the way that are interesting and thought provoking. We saw beautiful butterflies, and...More
