Our Wild Atlantic Day bike tour with West Coast Cycle Tours in Ireland ended up becoming one of my favorite memories - ever! Once my family and I met up with Enda, it was clear that he had an abundance of local knowledge to share with us, from the fascinating history of the Burren to a secret, lesser known place to view the Cliffs of Moher that afforded us "private" views of a spectacularly beautiful sight. His love of his country and the passion he has for his career work as a guide were evident. He had meticulously planned our tour with great attention to detail, providing opportunities for us to choose to ride more or less given the age range of our group (30-68). We didn't think our day could be more perfect, but Enda sent us a drone video featuring highlights of the bike tour. The drone perspective perfectly captured the famous Irish countryside and west coast views. You can't miss this bike tour day trip or the lifetime memories you'll create!

Amazing, unique life experience. We went on the Wild Atlantic Day, a one-day tour to the Cliffs of Moher. Our tour was thoughtfully split up into several legs of biking with the most amazing scenery this part of Ireland has to offer, split up by a few memorable stops. Our guide and tour creator Enda is fun and highly knowledgable, and every part of the trip was a great experience as a result, down to the car ride from the starting location. Cliffs at the end are breathtaking and Enda seemed to have the inside scoop on how to access a nearly-private viewing location in an otherwise-popular tourist area. To top it off we got a drone video of our biking and the cliffs, the production value of which could easily have surpassed the cost of the tour itself. Must do for anyone visiting Galway and surrounding area. Thank you Enda!

We went to a few different spots around the Coast and the Burren - so we got a lot of great variety between difficulty/length of the cycles which was customised to our ability, and also variety in the scenery. The photo shoot at the cliffs at the end was definitely the highlight (and the ciders on the car ride home....). Enda was a great guide: friendly, very knowledgeable and took us to some fantastic spots we otherwise would not have visited. Thanks so much!

Enda has managed to figure out the perfect way to see the Burren by bike. It's fun, totally customised to your ability and you get to see all the best parts of the Burren easily in one day.

Our cycling adventure with Edna was the best part of our one week trip to Ireland! If you enjoy great views and know how to ride a bike then this tour is for you. This tour allows you to move at your own pace. My friend and I took our time taking pictures of all the sights and spent a while at the stops we took. Our tour guide Edna was always happy to let us take as long as we wanted to and to answer some of the obscure questions we had about Irish history and the area. He tailors his tours to fit each group so there is a little something for everyone in every tour. Edna was also very accommodating about time. We left our hostel late and had to stop and get gas but Edna was happy to wait for us and meet us a little later. My favorite part of the tour was that in addition to cycling we also stopped at a Perfumery that had a lovely garden and restaurant. It was so nice to intermix cycling with experiencing unique activities in the local area. My least favorite part of the tour was the sunburn I got the next day, but that was my fault because I didn't remember to reapply sunscreen. Don't forget to bring sunscreen. Our guide even provided us with water, and gave us a place to put our cameras on our bikes if we needed it. I brought a mid-sized camera so I was happy I didn't have to cycle with it around my neck. I would suggest this tour to any one visiting Ireland who is interested in being physically active and seeing an area of Ireland up close and personal. The views you get of the Cliffs of Moher are absolutely amazing! The views you get of the Burren are also very surreal. The tour took about 6+ hours, but this could be longer or shorter if you wanted it to be. The drive to Galway from the tour meeting locations is about 30min to 1 hour. We rented a car on our trip which I would recommend but getting to experience this area on a bike is so much more personal than a car. I would still recommend it. Edna only does these tours in the summer months so check the website before you go and book ahead. When you go make sure to bring: - some type of tennis shoe (my friend brought tennis shoes, I brought hiking boots but they worked great too) - Phone - Camera - Yoga / jogging pants or bike shorts -**Sunscreen (and use it!, my friend and I were both red with sunburn the next day) Helmets are provided.
