Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were really lucky to get a table as they had had a cancellation. Food was amazing, great choices, All produce was locally sourced. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. There was a lovely atmosphere and was frequented by locals who also made us feel really welcome.
I had the lamb roti which was delicious and really tender. My husband had Muscles with catalan sausage. Will definitely return. The views are amazing on a good day and the outside garden looks over the bay.

Fantastic quaint bar overlooking the shore, beside a small beautiful beach . The daughter of the owner was friendly and fantastic at her job. Part of an Irish holiday experience is that you did get the odd chat and bit of craic. She was fantastic and coincidentally we connected through a small village in the north. Hopefully we get the chance to visit again. It’s the perfect Irish bar.

I defy you to enjoy a pub more than you will enjoy the Tin Pub. This pub does exactly what it says on the tin (pub). No food just great beer and a great time. Sunday night was live music very good and welcoming guest spots from customers and Margaret behind the bar so very friendly. Definitely will be getting repeat visits. Even if you only visit once your life will be better for it!

We stopped over here after doing the Sheep head round-trip. This is a querky place - it's a bar and no more. One big room, a bar, a bar man - pints. That's it. And great pints at that. Definitely stay for two if not more....

Quaint little pub selling Guinness on tap with a smile. Beautiful garden overlooking the bay. Doesn't do food.

We visited here twice during our stay on Sheep’s Head Penninsula. It’s a good place to stop and get out of the car to have a pint. You will run into a couple locals and here their chats. Cormac and Margaret were both lovely conversationalists. Go out back and sit a picnic table to relax and look at the water. Don’t forget to stop and say hi to Skoda the cat :)

Known as the tinny shed this tiny bar with big heart and one of the most perfectly stunning beer gardens in Ireland is a place for anyone bucket list visit. The Batman lives next door “it’s a short commute” -it closes end of September for winter so roll on summer.

We'd read about the 'Tin Pub' in some of the tourist guides so we thought we'd give it a go. Quaint Irish pub with a beer garden overlooking the bay. Great views, great Guinness and very friendly service.

This place is great. Friendly locals. Good beer. Amazing views from the garden. Do not miss out. Clearly a good location to go for a wild swim from too.

We stopped here while the village festival was taking place and this is a pub with a truly great garden at the end of which is a magnificent view of Dunmanus Bay. Spectacular to just take a leisurely pint to the garden's end and watch the ebb and flow of the tide.

Excellent service at the Tin Pub and a pretty unique place, with it being pieced together with corrugated iron sheets. Inside it is a bit dark, but a place certainly worth visiting for the craic.
