This break turned out to be a bit like going to a retreat, the peacefulness and views were incredible and very therapeutic. Caro Feely was great fun and we hadn't realised quite how much we would learn about wine and in such an interesting way. We also learned so much about the organic way of life and were able to... Having only enquired about a visit here via email last night we were delighted that Caro could fit us in this morning. A wonderful private short tour of the vineyard which was very interesting followed by sampling of 4 delicious wines. Caro's passion for her produce and environment clearly shows but this is in no way a pushy sales pitch.... More

Caro who is an excellent host and passionate about her wine making. She explains every detail of the process and really opened our eyes to organic and biodynamic production not just with wine but for everything we eat and drink. The location is great with beautiful views across the valley, I recommend this experience to all wine drinkers!

Wow - what a day! We were a group of 21 women on a bachelorette party to the Dordogne and had booked to stay at the Domaine de la Fauconnie (amazing chateau you can hire for up to 22 to stay) which was located approx 30 mins away from Chateau Feely. During the booking process Caro was extremely helpful and... More

We have just returned from a short break in Saussignac at Chateux Feely. We were greeted with a beautiful bottle of white wine (made on the premises) which was enjoyed beside the wonderful views from our lodge on site. Caro was a very informative guide in Saint Emilion and took us to two lovely vineyards as well as for a... More

As a birthday surprise, while staying in Bordeaux, a little over an hour's train journey away, my 2 adult sons and daughter "surprised" me with a trip to Chateau Feely. We were met from the train by our host, Cara Feely, who drove us to her home and vineyard. In the time we were there - approximately 4 hours -... More

I'm struggling to find the words to do this justice, in short it was the most perfect week's holiday in my life. Peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings, delicious food and magnificent wine. This stay has developed a new interest for me in organic/biodynamic wine. The accommodation at the wine lodge was delightful; clean, comfortable with great views over the vinyard. We... More

Our wine tour and tasting at Chateau Feely was a joy from start to finish. Caro picked us up from the station and took us for a tour of the vineyards. It was a friendly, informative and fascinating commentary, covering the types of grapes and vines, the wine, the soil, the land, the history of the vineyard and the region.... More

What could be better than eating sun-warmed grapes off the vine while being guided through a gorgeous vineyard by a charming and knowledgeable guide? Top it off with a wine tasting paired with a delicious lunch. If that sounds like heaven then be sure to make Chateau Feely a stop on your trip to Bordeaux.

The wife and I took my father and his partner to Chateau Feely for his 70th. We stayed in the wine lodge, a beautifully and simply apportioned organic lodge with wonderful views across the vines and down the valley. Nothing was too much trouble, wine was provided in the room anyway and breakfast was delivered fresh each morning. On our... More
