An unusual concept.....

Is it a zoo with a hotel attached, or a hotel with a zoo on site? Only kidding, because this is one of the very best zoos in France, and a leader in conservation and education, BUT there are some beautiful apartments on site which - literally - allow guersts to stay overnight (private entrances and balconies) and to view... We visited the zoo as an overnight stay in one of the safari lodges and from the moment we entered the door we knew we would have fun. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they spoke good English which was great as our French isn't fantastic! The animals are a real treat, all looking so well and at home... More

We went here whilst staying just over an hour away and it was well worth the visit. Only €22 to get in and we spent just over four hours there without seeing any of the shows. Plenty of animals to see that you don't see in most zoos and you can get really close to them as well. There is... More

So yesterday the 20th me and my husband went to the zoo in Fletcher, it was a wonderful day. It's small but wonderful there was many things to look at, there are three shows, the seals, the parakeets and the birds and very cool, lots of shade. It was not too busy yesterday because everybody is back in school but... More

I have to admit that in my mind, the only reason to have a zoo is for conservation purposes. Wild animals invariably require more space than zoos can offer. This one is no exception. They have several different animals that are not found in every zoo. White tiger, black panther, white lion etc. However the space these animals have is... More

Trying to watch the show - but no chance. Wife in a wheel chair and everyone pushing in. No special area to sit - people coming and going. So badly organised. Did the same in the Netherlands and they had special area for disabled people, staff to supervise the seating and a door so no one could come when the... More

Great Zoo, the White Lions at this zoo were beautiful, and go and see the hunting bird display, but get there well before it starts to get a seat. Great variety of animals here

We have four teenagers aged 18,17,16&14 and we spent a good 4 hours here but wouldn't have done any more hours. Fun little place. Lots to look at. Animals seem healthy. Snacks were overpriced (3.7euro for a coke!) so take lots of water and a hat so you don't burn at the displays. Could do with a water fountain and... More

We first went 3 years ago in a grouo with 4 very young children and had a really good time. We returned this year with a 4, 5, 8 and 9 year old in tow and they were pretty happy due to seeing lots of interesting animals. The adults were less enthused. At €40 per child, adult pair it's not... More
