We had heard that Ascott house was a good place to visit and we were very impressed by the interesting and beautiful grounds, lovely views and interesting house. Staff were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Great afternoon with family.

Does not open until 1 pm so a nice half day visit. Ample car parking. There is a reasonable walk to the house, but they have a buggy service if you need assistance. They organise viewings in half hour slots. Which works very well. The...More

Yes, Ascott House is open on 31 July 2018, note though that the gardens open at 1pm and the house at 2pm
