This is a small narrow gauge railway and must not be compared to the likes of Welsh narrow gauge railways. It is most applicable for families with small children and people who like trains. There is a lovely little station with a large gift shop...More

Really enjoyed our trip to the railway today! Free car park and a friendly greeting from the staff in the ticket office. We were lucky enough to have on board one of the volunteers who helped to build our carriage (no.11). He told us lots...More

First visit with our toddler granddaughter. Lovely scenic train ride, helpful staff and nice cafe and shop. Trains are well maintained, but old and liable to break down, but staff kept us informed of slight delay.

This is a lovely afternoon out. I took my elderly parents and kids and they all had a lovely day. Great little shops and friendly helpful staff, who go out of their way to explain things. Thanks... Lovely family memories.

I recently spent a day as a VIP (paying) guest of Leighton Buzzard Railway; the experience had been bought for me as a present. I enjoyed three return trips, as a passenger, in the Guard's waggon and on the footplate of a steam locomotive. I...More

This is a family attraction that has become hidden by the encroachment of new housing estates so the use of a map or sat nav is adviseable. Once found it is a pleasant place with a large park nearby. A cafe is handy for refreshments...More

Much under-rated and possibly more highly regarded in Germany than here at home, it's the sort of trip you would gladly go to Snowdonia or the Lake District to experience and yet here it is just down the road in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. There are...More

This is a great place to visit for all the family. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They opened up the disabled door and took a seat out to accommodate our Grandson who was asleep in his push chair. The visit to the engine sheds...More
