A pre Christmas visit with two small children to enjoy the Santa Special. Great fun, good for younger children (not too big). Trip about 30 mins, again just right for little ones. Mice pie and punch for adults and a visit to Santa for the kids.

On the day we visited there were a few steam engines out. We had a return trip down the line on Elf. The engine shed was interesting and the guide had lots of interesting information regarding the engines. This is worth a visit on the event days so you can see plenty of engines.

We have visited Ascot House on many occasions the gardens are lovely and usually very peaceful to wonder around. Although you can only see a small part of the house it is very interesting and the guides are knowledgeable and always ready to advise on the house and its history. There are two paintings which depict how the Rothschild family... More

An enjoyable trip on the fascinating narrow gauge railway. A round trip of about 1 hour. There are new facilities at Page's Park and work is still ongoing to improve things further. Great fun.

Reading the review from the person who stated that they last paid £2.50 per adult for the train ride when was this 20 to 30 years ago. I think you need to get up to date. We have been to this railway many times and it is great value.

We all love the LB railway, we have took our kids and now grandkids. But the prices charged are horrendous. £10 per adult is far too much to charge. Not long ago it was £2.50 per adult fare. We ended up looking at shop, bought couple f bits for kids then went to the park next door. Disappointed with this.

What a great little railway this is. The station at Pages park is charming with its leafy canopy and well stocked, accessible engine shed. The journey is different from the norm as the loco's whistle is blasted on a frequent basis when approaching the numerous footpaths and the train stopping at road crossings to allow the crew to flag the... We visited on a hot Wednesday 24th of August with our two Grandchildren, bought our tickets for the 2 o/c train ride from the lovely new building and then went to the cafe. We had a very enjoyable lunch, friendly and helpful people. The boys decided to sit in the open carriage which was lovely chugging along with the breeze... More
