The best sunday ever. It qas an amazing experience. Best sportive day ever. We were 8 with one guide, it starts with a hike, then 2 rappels and then the jumps and slides starts. The maximum jump you can do in matacanes is of 12 meters. This canyoying is just amazing. Apparently is the fifth best canyoying in the wolrs... More

20km / 10hours walking, climbing, rappelling, swimming, sliding and jumping through the canyon. It has 30 water jumps with the highest compulsory being 7 metres and highest optional 12 metres. It is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. I think it not very famous internationally but it definitely would deserve to be!

This was an Amazing trip. Guides were super friendly and the cabins were very nice. Mix of dives and swimming with beautiful views. Was very tried at the end of the day but well worth it. I will be back!

The matacanes canyon trail was amazing. My wife was very nervous but she agreed to go with me for my birthday. When we got to the first jump I worried she would turn back and again at the first rappel, but after much encouragement she did it. The guides did a great job helping her overcome her fears. She enjoyed... More

This is ecotourism at its best! A group of 8 fathers and 9 daughters (12-13 years) went to Matacanes to spend one unforgettable adventure. We made this trip to bond with our daughters, leaving the rest of our families behind, this was just girls and dads adventure. This is a full day adventure; it took us 10 hours to complete... More

I have done this trail around 6 times and I assure you it is amazing. It doesn't matter if you are a rookie or a professional, this place has it all and you can do it as easy or hard as you want. Once you get to the top of the mountain, the trail starts with a 2 hour walk... More

You will not believe how beautiful this place is, and mostly really close to the city. On the way to the touristy site Cola de Caballo Falls, you head up like 4 kms to next sign of Puerto Genovevo. From that point you will immerse in a dirt road surrounded by beautiful trees down to the junction of two rivers,... More

This place is breathtaking, I couldn't believe my eyes. The waterfalls, natural toboggans, caves. It was an amazing experience. Definitely you have to be fit and daring. Lots of jumps to the water and swimming in cold water. Bring chocolate bars to keep in your life vests.
