It was just an overnight tour and we got typical chilly and rainy weather, but the experience was remarkable, spectacular, wonderful, educational, and just so much fun! Of course the amazing Doubtful Sound was the highlight, but the boat, food, crew, and fellow passengers were...More

Stunning scenery....the scale! Friendly fun team, food to die for, genuine Kiwi experience. What else do you need? Its not the Ritz, but its clean and tidy, and the experience and wonderment more than makes up for that. And my investigations tell me, Tutoko II...More

I did this trip and it was great. you take a boat, then a coach, then another boat. the crew handles everything. the scenery is great, even when it rains (dress accordingly). the boat is smaller than some other tours, which is a huge plus....More

Milford Sound is an amazing place. We choose a smaller company that provided a coach transfer to and from Te Anua, and cruised on one of the smaller boats. Less crowded, and always able to get good viewing/photo position. The crew on the boat was...More

As if the grandeur of Doubtful Sound wasn't enough, our overnight with Fiordland Expeditions made it an epic experience. Despite the fact that we did not have stellar weather, the staff made sure we were able to kayak & fish. We thought the spear fishing...More

I went on an overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound with Fiordland Expeditions and it was a highlight of my trip to New Zealand. The small size of the boat means a low-key, meaningful interaction with the other passengers and crew. Mandy was so helpful to...More

My wife and I had the fun experience of an overnight outing on Doubtful Sound. Wonderful staff, views and adventure. Small excursion boat, great companion guests and seafood caught by passengers and staff for a delicious dinner. Expensive but worth the investment.

Took an overnight cruise on valentine's Day with a small group of us two plus eight others and three wonderful crew members. We all quickly became friends and were utterly spoilt by the awesome food, the waterfalls, the dolphins playing at the bow wave, the...More
