Beautiful, hidden little gem

Only a mile or so from Aysgarth in the stunning village of West Burton. Beautiful little waterfall with a few seats to relax and take in the view

I was lucky to be with someone who had visited before as I had not previously heard of this waterfall. I have been numerous times to the more famous Aysgarth Falls just down the road but never here. A very spectacular waterfall in a beautiful village. I will definitely return here one day

This is lovely place to visit and Wensleydale is a Yorkshire gem. West Burton village itself has a charm of the dale with the nearby Aysgarth falls too. It feels to be off the beaten track, but an escape from urbanism is the opposite feel here. Nature at its best and preservation sustained by the locals. Recommended to visit.

Great waterfalls, really impressive. Free and easy accessable. Great to look at and not far off the beaten track from Hawes. Really enjoyed them.

I think probably one of the most romantic fall in Yorkshire. The parking is just on the village high street and then a walk to falls. All this beauty and gorgeousness just tucked behind a pretty village high street. Do visit and walk along both sides.

We visited the Aysgarth Fall and luckily someone told us about the West Burton ones that are missed by many. We were so pleased to be able to visit and the whole village was very attractive. We were sorry that we went on the day that the cat pottery is closed.

we were taken here with friends and had no idea where we were going we went thru the village and then walked down through a shady woodland area to the falls. They did not disappoint it was a lovely quiet place hidden away and all you could hear was the water coming down over the falls .Well worth a visit... More

Lovely little Waterfall in a Lovely Village. Please contribute to the Village by using the shops or Pub as there is not many villages left like this, just a token gesture in the Honesty Box would be most welcome.
