Simply amazing to discover

This is a great place to find the true beauty of wine making in this area. The owner loves his wines and is very happy to share his passion. We arrived near to closing time but we where amazed that he took all the time for us to taste and tell his stories, especcially when we he told us it was a very busy moment at the vineyard.
If you want great wine for a good price please visit, this place deserves no less then acknowledgement!

Excellent Visit and wine tasting
Jun 2018 • Couples
We were staying locally and met the owner of this business one evening at our hotel. The hotel owner then organised for us to visit the following day. It was a very friendly and intimate experience - we sat in the cellar of the house with 2 other couples and were offered 10 or so wines to taste from sparkling and still whites of various sweetness and a variety of reds. Ended up buying as much as we could carry home! A really informative and enthusiastic owner and host - deserves to do well.

Good wine at a correct price

The wine tasting proposed he is more then OK.

The idea is that you can taste all of their wines. As we don't drink the Biancos we skipped them.

The owner is a passionate person who knows everything about his wine. If you are in the area make sure to stop!

Great wine

Well worth a visit. We tasted 10 wines, 5 white, 5 red - all excellent. Ignazio gave a talk about the grapes and the process that went into each wine and how they gave each wine its flavour, all very interesting. A very knowledgeable and entertaining host.

Great wines for a reasonable price

If you want some good reasonably priced bottles in your cellar, this is certainly a winery to visit. they offer no nosence whites and an award wining red TITON (Barbera d'Asti) next to the standard Moscato that is typical for this region.

Unforgettable wine tasting experience
Jun 2015 • Friends
I came for a wine tasting session in June along with only four people. Ignazio and Giuglia, the owners of L'Armangia, gave us all the time in the world to answer our (stupid) questions and introducing their broad line of excellent wines. Unforgettable experience. A must visit if you decide to give the tourist-packed riviera a break and meet the wonderful and welcoming people of the beautiful hills of the Asti-region instead.

Wonderful winery visit and degustation in Canelli

We visited this great winery with friends ang got a tour in the cellars and after that tasted all their 14 wines. Our host, Ignazio, explained the production process and the history of the farm. I really admire his passion to his work! And the wines are lovely. Bought some of them to our own cantina :)

Knowledge, warmth, passion....and 14 tastings! 2.5 hours with just us and the owner, it was an unforgettable experience and some very delicious wine to boot. He is best known for his Barbera, and it did not disappoint! Will be shipping some of his wine back to NYC!

Great wine tasting
We were treated very well by the owners, who made us try all their wines ang gave us plenty of food. We didn't visit the vineyards but had a look at the cellars. It's a small family business so don't expect a sleek organisation, but definetly worth a visit. We bought 12 bottles to take home.

Best wine tasting ever!
Jul 2014 • Friends
L'armangia has a large selection of wines they grow and produce as naturally as possible. Call ahead (or email) for a tour of the winery and a tasting. Ignazio (forth generation vintner) and Giuliana (who is a sommelier) are wonderful and knowledgeable hosts and the wines are great! You won't want to leave without stocking up...we reshuffled all the luggage so we could fit in several cases. For those English-speakers who are reading this; they speak very good English.
