Nice place to visit
Oct 2017 • Couples
Nice place to visit in or after mid September and October the mad rush of Italians on holidays ends. Only drawback is if you don’t speak or understand Italian then it gets tough as no one speaks anything else, else great place and good weather and fantastic food at reasonable prices if not cheap.

Paradise
Aug 2017 • Family
A paradise for seafood lovers and families. Shallow crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and the perfect weather for a summer holiday.

Too crowded
Aug 2017 • Family
Well, it is totally different that what is on the internet and on the brochures. All, literally all of the beaches on august are FULL. You feel like a rice piece inside a package of rice. Only option is to go to the beach in the afternoon. Almost 1/4 of the crowd goes home until 12 because of the hot sun. So don't try to be early. Sand and water is really nice and clear. But if so many people come together, it gets dirty... Conclusion; if you are searching for a place to relax, you are at the wrong side of italy. If you are looking for fun and just want to sunbath, why NOT...

Poor town
Jul 2017 • Family
Nothing works in Torre Lapillo. Everyone is trying to cheat you money. Rules are not obeyed on, you can park however and wherever you like.
The beach is overcrowded and not as clean as pictures around show.

Amazing sea
Jul 2017 • Friends
Very good beach and sea.
There is free beach or bars and price activity.
Plus the sea is wonderfull, you can have sand the signal and then rocks, especially you can find various kind of fish and some part of roman ancient plot!

Beautiful beach, worth a day trip
Jun 2017 • Friends
Had a lovely time on the beach. White and, crystal clear, still water. Not much around there. Recommend visiting for a day trip only. Hotels look way overpriced and there are much nicer towns in Italy than Porto Cesaro (the closest town). It was an easy 1.5 hour drive from Monopoli (which is a great place to stay) and we went on to stay at Gallipoli (40 mins drive) which I highly recommend visiting and staying a few nights

The beach is beyond amazing. Clear waters and a nice atmosphere. Arrive early and rent a chair and a umbrella for the day.

OUTSTANDING BEACH - like Caribbean
Jul 2016 • Couples
Really beautiful sandy beach with clear crystal water, suitable for everyone - kids, seniors, young, etc....
They have many lidos, where the beach chairs (excluding umbrella) starts from 8EUR/pp up to 15 EUR (during Sunday, please book a chair ahead, as its impossible to get any on the spot during high season). The beach has also small stretches of public beach too (located between lido's ).

Top score for sunny beach holidays!
Sep 2016 • Family
We had two wunderful weeks in Torre Lapillo. The beach is outstanding as is the water: cristal clear and mediterranean blue. This small village of about five hundred permanent citizens grows exponentially during the summer months and turn into an eldorado of activities for people; Italiens, with restaurants, caffees, gelaterias, and bars, during holiday seasons. It is a beach for the Italians and the question is for how long before people from other countries discover this pearl.

Visit to friends who live locally.
Jul 2016 • Friends
Fabulous white sandy spotless beaches. Lovely seascapes. Very few non-Italian holiday makers though it's very popular with Italian tourists.especially from Napoli & Milano. Child-friendly Friendly helpful locals. Some of the best food I have ever tasted. Seafood caught locally daily. Local grown fruit & veg. Local cheeses breads olives etc. We were there for 11 days whilst a fiesta was going on. Great fun. Local markets selling everything necessary for an enjoyable trip. Transport (In the Summer months at least will take you cheaply to the beautiful Baroque city of Lecce & many more. What's not to like?
