We went all the way to the summit during the summer period. Fun for my kids to see snow in the summer. The food at the 2.nd stop was horrible and very expensive! So dont eat there, wait till you get down!

Going to the top of the Marmolada is really fantastic. We had beautiful weather which gave us a view all over the Dolomites. From the Alps in the North to the end of the Dolomites in the South. Very impressive is the influence of the...More

This appeals at 2 levels - the scenery is amazing and the cable car rides exciting - and the museum of the Great War halfway up is one of the best presented I've come across - in particular a brilliant use of archive film. Also...More

The cable car return to the top is 30 Euros for an adult so can be quite expensive for a group. Don't be put off though as this is a top attraction with the spectacular views, the First World War Museum (apparently Europe's highest museum)...More

If it is sunny and bright from the panoramic terrace (at 3265 meters) you can see all the Dolomites, the view is so exciting and wonderful! It was a sunny saturday and there was a long queue at the base of the cable car, but...More

Going to Marmolada is always perfect experience. You never know what the weather would look like :) Also skiing back down is a good journey with the longest slope I have ever skied - almost 6.5 km.
