Great fun for all ages
Aug 2019
We were looking for something to keep a 4, 5 and 17 year old occupied as well as something that didn’t drive us to drink either. We happened across this gem of a place thanks to TripAdvisor but we were worried that the last review we could see was back in 2016. Things didn’t seem to be going well when we turned up to find ourselves the only people in the car park. We cautiously approached the entrance and met the owner. A warm welcome was given and after it was apparent that our poor French vocab wasn’t going to cut it he happily switched to English. He explained that the exits were easy to find so the point of the maze was to find your way to certain points within the maze. At each point you are rewarded with an episode from a story (the owner writes the stories himself, changes it every year, and even translates it to English). We fully expected to have to play at being lost for the sake of the little ones but within minutes we were taking just as many wrong turns and hitting dead ends as the children. We had an absolute blast and even a few scattered showers did little to dampen our spirits. Although lost for some parts our little girls (4&5 years old) never panicked. We think was due to the maze walls being lifted off the ground so climbing underneath is possible. Once at the end, somewhere near two hours later, we were rewarded with a viewing platform so we could appreciate the vastness of the place, and the work that must’ve gone into it. The fact that we had the place to ourselves made the whole thing actually much better. There is a picnic area at the end as well in case you are better prepared than we were and bring some refreshments. In conclusion the whole place was very well set up and was well worth the time and money spent.

Good fun for family (little children) or friends

Outdoor activity in a pretty large space. We got through the maze after 1h30 of good fun: both running and walking after our kids.
Safe activity as you can go below the "walls" if you get lost... but that would mean that the maze is stronger than you :)
To ensure it will last enough time, there are some check-points to go to in order to read a 5 chapter story both in English and French.
It worked perfectly well with my 4 and 2 years old boys. But I would also go there with senior adults.
We enjoyed that place and hope others will keep to do so.

We were family of three adults and three children, all found the challenge really fun. The children finished first.

This labyrinth is pretty fun, it's big and made up of wooden garden screens.
there is a story which they tell about a certain person who used to live in a small city nearby.
The text on the signs is in French and English.

They guy at the sales booth speaks french and English.
tickets are rather expensive, about 7 euro per person.
I think it took us about 20 to 30 minutes to walk through the labyrinth.

They do have a patio to sit on, but unfortunately they do not sell any drinks or ice-cream, which would have been nice.

While you are there anyway, go check out the funpark right next to the labyrinth.

A great activity for a new experience with friends of family

We visited Peninsula Labyrinthe with friends and niece. I was expecting an activity for kids, but in fact adults had at least as fun as the kids! Michel who created this activity welcomes you in this area surrounded by trees with view on the sea. He explains you the target of the different games : one main Labyrinthe, but also quite a lot of different games arround it.
We had a very good time!
