At Ankkapurha park area you will find houses desing by Alvar Aalto, see a part of Kymiriver (Kymijoki). Also in this area is located Industrial museum. The heart of the museum is Finland’s first continuously operated board machine restored at its original place in 1997.

Dreamy park. Wonderful green enclave. Across the street from famous Alvar Aalto's buildings and a nice contrast to the old factory nearby. Bought some gifts in the cafe of the Ankkapurha Culture Park and enjoyed the park very much. Signs say "Please walk on the grass!" )))
