Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really nice swamp area. It is nice especially in spring and fall. During summer there is quite a lot of mosquitos. There are few paths from 1,5km to 10km. Shortest ones are reachable by wheelchairs and strollers.

Tower is solid, which is good because I am scared in high places. You can see big area of the swamp and its birds. Summertime this was nice place.Last time we visited here winter time and the narrow path up was really slippery. Then we noticed also the possibility to sit near fire place and fry sausages. This time we had heat wave in Finland and all the open fires was forbidden, because the soil was so dry. So we have to go again

The main route in the national park is about 3.5km path across the bog on duckboards. From there you can either return along the same path or take a bit longer detour through the village nearby. The "small" trail is about 1km of duckboards and is suitable also for children and less sporty people. There's one place for making a fire, but one should still be careful with the wind.

A worth while short hike in one of the the south Finland's largest swamps. Just 8 km from the helsinki - pori road , if you want to streach out for a hour or two, but even just to go and see the nature. I'd do the walk on the swamp track back and forth - about 7 km , not the 10 km circle route, which includes walking a 2 km streatch on the side of the busy road. The wooden path was in ok shape,

I visited the Torronsuo national park for the first time. For a person who likes swamp sceneries this is a lovely place to visit but I was not that impressed; I'm more lake/sea-rock/mountain-forest kind of person :)
There is two duckboard trails around the swamp. I took the shorter trail and in some points the duckboards weren't in that good condition so mind your step.
There is an impressive bird watch tower near the parking area and you can see far far away from there. Nice views!
Even this is not my cup of tea I'm thinking of going there again and walk the longer route.

Fantastic view. There could be a little more guidance along the way. Free Parking and a good plus is the bird watching tower and a place to grill.

We liked walking on the wooden path (both beautiful and easy to walk on, recently renewed), taking a look at plants / flowers / fruit on the way.
We had to go twice because, 1st time, we got lost on the way back from the parking place (despite a few signs ), and had to walk our way back on the same track.

I recently visited Torronsuo with my 3 year old niece, who loved climbing up to Kiljamo bird watching tower and walking on brand new duckboards. Part of the duckboards were renewed this summer, but there is still some work to do next summer. There were many other hikers visiting Torronsuo on this beautiful day, and they all greeted us on the duckboards and asked my niece if she has had a nice adventure at the bog. Who said Finns don't know small talk?! Torronsuo, also known as Torro, remains one of my favourite national parks in Finland. The best part is that it can be visited all year round.
