My family and I experienced a magical couple of days at Kangasniemi with Rock and lake at their Lempi cottage. We booked our stay during Christmas holidays and the premises matched our needs very well. We all fit comfortably inside, the cottage had beds for 11 people and all the kitchenware needed for our Christmas cooking. Another thing worth mentioning is that the cottage is also accessible for people with disabilities as one member of our family needed a rollator to move around.
What's more, the surroundings were extremely peaceful and we were surrounded by gorgeous Finnish nature everywhere. Would highly recommend Lempi as well as Rock and lake for stays around the year.

A perfect hide away villa by a quiet lake. Villa locates alone on an island (reachable with car): main villa 3br, a separate sauna building 1br, a car shelter and a shelter for open fire cooking. Nature activities on lake (SUP-paddling, rowing, fishing, canoeing, swimming from sauna) and in the countryside and surrounding forests (orienteering, biking, cross country skiing... ) . This is a gem for nature lovers! Great and friendly service by the host

We spent a wonderful week at villa villi. It is calm and beautiful with absolutely amazing fishing in the lake. We had rented to boats equipped with everything needed to have a great fishing week. We will come back for sure.

Went on a fishing trip with Rock and Lake on July 2015. Great fun! Good boat, very professional guide, good catch. Definitely recommended if you want to experience a good fishing day in the Finnish lakes.

Very comfortable and cozy cottage by the lake. We liked that there are actually two cottages. One close to the lake has a fireplace and very good Finnish sauna. It is easy to go swimming from there. We also liked that it is a very peaceful place. Perfect place for relaxing.
We liked grilling by the beach house and watching the calm lake where swan family was swimming. Unique quietness and calmness makes one relax fully. That is life :).

Beautiful lake scenery, wonderful sauna cottage and peaceful atmosphere. Nice and clean main cottage. Wonderful and helpful owners! Perfect place to relax and unwind.Been there three times and will return :).

We have spent one week in Tiilikka's cottage (Rock & Lake) for the 2017 New Year's holidays. The cottage is ideally located on the edge of a lake. We were three couples with children and we enjoyed a lot. The cottage is big enought for 8 people and very well equipped.
Jenny, in charge of the organisation of our stay, has still been very available and helpful.
I would recommend Rock & Lake to anybody who loves nature, beautiful landscapes and silence.

Last summer we participated in a canoe trip organised by Rock and Lake for small group of tourists. The first thing I would like to mention is very well-coordinated work of staff. All needed equipment for the trip was prepared for us in advance: starting from canoes, ending with life jackets, helmets and food.
Truly, I’m not very good in canoeing, but anyway I have only positive experience after the travel. We had excellent guide, who gave good advices and helped to control the canoe when it was needed.
It was all day long trip and we moved down the small river, which takes the beginning from one of the Finnish lake. We had some stops during the trip for rest and food. Our guide cooked for us soup on the fire with fish caught from the local pond. It was really delicious.
Also I would like to say some words about Finnish nature. It is beautiful, calm and clean. We observed different birds, frogs and insects. Some of them I have never seen before. I was impressed by local vegetation diversity; especially it was nice to see lilies in the water. Area where the river flows is various, sometimes we saw only fields around, and then very unpredictably river took its way through the forest, where you feel yourself like in Amazon jungles.
I live in the big city, where unfortunately contact with nature is a rarity. This trip is a nice possibility to have a rest for your soul and body. Thank you very much!

Спасибо за Ваш запрос. На новогодние праздники мы работаем. Снегоходы на новогодние праздники уже, увы, забронированы. Но мы бы могли предложить Вам другие варианты отдыха, например, прогулку на собачьих упряжках.
