Bornholm is truly a wonderful island! Situated in the Baltic sea, east of Denmark. It's easily accessed by land, driving to Ystad, Sweden, then catching a ferry to Ronne, time on this modern ferry is 1 hour, 20 minutes. You can also access Bornholm's capital, Ronne from Koge, in Zealand, 5 hours, 30 minutes, or from Sassnitz, Germany, 3 hours,... More

This place never gets crowded, you can always find your own spot. Sand and dunes ar as good as it gets. The 500 m board walk is a great way to get from parking lot to beach. Water is of course not really warm (it's Denmark), but i was surprised to find all the algea in the water... Not very... More

Dueodde beach is magnificient. A boardwalk leads through beautiful dune nature that becomes gradually more sandy until several meter high dunes surround it. The dunes are wonderful for climbing, jumping, exploring with children. The sand is incredibly fine. The beach itself is long, wide, natural and beautiful. This place is ideal for a long beach walk, exploring the dunes with... More

Sugar-fine white sand beach has become a little smaller but still a very nice walk along a boardwalk - makes this very wheelchair accessible

We had been on Bornholm in 1989 for the first time. We live in western- Germany with a trip of 1.000km from door to door. But: Every km was worth it. We lived in various family aparments mostly around Dueodde. In the pine- woods and near them. We LOVE this island. All in all we hat been 10 times there.... More

Beautiful almost snow-white sand combined with dramatic dunes and blue sea - fantastic place to visit on a sunny day. A Bornholm must!

While the beach is a worthwhile visit in Dueodde, I walked the 2km in the other direction today and visited the Dueodde Listening Tower instead (it seems Trip Advisor has yet to add it to their list of Things To Do). As a History graduate and teacher of the Cold War, I was quite excited. The place that first heard... More

You cannot travel to Bornholm without visiting this area! The beachsand is as white as baking powder. Its is always a bit windy, so be careful: use suntanning cream to avoid to be burnt by the sun. Bornholm is Denmarks most sunny island, and its true. If you get hungry, step into Diner and steakhouse just near by the beginning... More

Beaches should be visited at times when they are the most beautiful. Dueodde which is lying on the island Bornholm's southern side is a morning beach. This is where you should walk and run early in the morning. It's a beach that has the most fantastic sunrise you will ever see.It seems endless and so silent .It is so long that you...
