You can climb the tower for a magnificent 360 degree view to the world below or you can stay on the boardwalk for a view of the forest floor. We have always been lucky to spot many different varieties of boards along this walk, including the Eastern Whipbird and King Parrots.

We started the Border Track from O'Reillys around 10.30am and arrived at Binna Burrra just after 5pm. The hike is approx. 22km long and you do need to be prepared and take plenty of water and food. We also took our own tents, inflatable mattress so we could camp at Binna Burra Lodge but you can book a tent with... More

I set myself a few goals this year (being a BIG year) and one of them was the Border Walk from Binna Burra to O'Reillys. O'Reillys Guest House has a scheduled Saturday link between the two resorts. The drive back down the mountain, through the valley and up to Binna Burra is just beautiful; really sets the mood for the... More

We spent a day here and did several of the shorter walks. Each walk is fantastic in its own way. I particularly enjoyed the Lower Bell bird walk that took me down to the foot of the Ballanjui Falls. The walk encompasses several fantastic view points finishing at the falls. The return walk is about 12km so make sure you... More

this walk is a great way to spend an hour as part of a day's outing to lamington national park as it incorporates a section through the treetops and a good look at the park features.

Highly recommend coming here while in Brisbane. The ride up is steep and windy. If you are from the U.S. I caution against driving. The roads are extremely narrow and you are driving on the wrong side. Margin for error is very small. You are better off using one of the tour groups to get up. The views are incredible.... More

There are so many magnificent walks available in this vast National Park. You can choose to walk from a range of starting points, all 1-2 hours driving distance from the Gold Coast: the village of Mount Tamborine, the more remote eco community of Springbrook, Binna Burra and O'Reilly's. Accommodation of varying standards is available at all 4 locations, the last... More

The day was clear, I had a local friend with me, and we walked all over the place. Some of the most beautiful scenery and local flora I have ever seen. If you have the opportunity, do not miss this attraction, or you will sorely regret it. While I cannot post my pictures, I have really great shots that will... More
