Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited Bruff to see where my grandmother was born and contacted the centre before we arrived. Pat was amazing. Not only did he find out lots of information, including the actual house where her family lived, he met us and gave us a very interesting walking tour of the town. He painted a real picture of what life was like in Bruff at that time plus lots of local Irish history. Who knew Bruff had such a colourful past. Thank you Pat. We would love to come back to hear more about local folklore. Highly recommended!!!

This is a wonderful place to find out more about the Fitzgerald family and to see items of interest from the JFK family. It has a lot of interesting items and I spent an hour there just soaking up information about the Fitzgeralds.

This wasn't on my original itinerary and so it was a lovely surprise - a strong, well informed tribute to a great American president. JFK would have been proud to have the citizens of Bruff as custodians of his ancestral story!

Not sure if the young lady manning the museum that day was a substitute or not. Didn't seem too interested in telling us what was there. Just turned on a video. There's not much here. A dress of Jackie Kennedy's, a few letters, campaign buttons, copies of documents. I was pretty disappointed.
I know this community is very proud of it's connection to President Kennedy's Irish roots and well they should be. I just wish it were more developed. It was pretty much one room and a small side room. I think it has a lot of potential. I just thought five euro entrance fee was a bit steep for what was there.

Hi. Sorry the centre did not meet your high expectations. You forgot to mention that centre has the largest hand painted Fitzgerald family mural in existence along with the photographic display that includes jfk trip to Ireland and Limerick in 1963. From the presentation which you refer to as the video, you will have been given all the information on the ancestral links as well as the history on the building. You will also know that the centre is operated by a voluntary community group that receives no state funding. The €5 contribution goes completely to upkeep of the building. If you would like your €5 back please contact us and we will be happy to return it.

Visited this center as part of a college trip. This site is a hidden gem and full of rich heritage regarding the history of the family of President John F. Kennedy. Definitely worth a visit if in the vicinity of Co. Limerick. Very accommodating to visitors and if you are visiting outside opening hours, just ring ahead and they will try their best to accommodated you by opening.
Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
