Rising above the most beautiful village of the island, the castle takes you to another dimension. It makes you travel through time and history while you stand in front of a breathtaking view. A must see when in Lesvos.

It is a good steep walk up to the castle, but well worth it for the views alone. It costs €2 to explore the ruins at the top. There is a cafe at the top for much needed refreshments.
