You have to visit Gandia where you find some of the most gorgeous beaches in the Mediterranean. The beach is full of shops and some excellent restaurants, as well as great hotels, such as the four star Bayren hotel on the front line.

We were visiting Gandia on our way South. My husband spent some time here as a newly qualified doctor in the 70's....so a nostalgia trip...we were not disappointed. Gandia is a pretty unknown jewel to Brots...who know Benidorm, just down the coast much better.

The Saturday market is in Gandia town not at the playa. It is normally on the serpis car park near the footbridge to the southern end of the paseo.
