We hiked down to see the Red Beach. It's beautiful and the red sand and cliffs are stunning. It is a hike to it for sure. If you are down that way, worth a stop to go see it in person.

We saw stunning views there in the morning and expect it to be crowded during peak season. As we visited in winter, there were less people but still difficult to find a spot to take pics! As a tour group had just arrived at the...More

Simply a beautiful & unique beach. Instagrammable. Not many people when we went there as it was still in winter. Love the sands.

The view is spectacular like many other views in Santorini. Better if you rent a car or even walk or bike to destination and enjoy few hours of relaxation.

The walk to the beach offers dramatic and picturesque views of red cliffs formed from volcanic activity. The beach and surrounding landscapes are well worth seeing.

Peaceful until someone spoilt it flying a drone on the beach next to us. Small beach covered in dry vegetation not sand possibly dry seaweed. Dangerous to walk from the cliff down, very narrow path with loose and very craggy rocks. Not safe for young...More

Some steep walking over rocks leads you to one of the most beautiful beaches - when we went, there wasn't much space to sunbathe; however, the water was warm and the views were incredible. Definitely a must-do if you have a couple free hours. Very...More

Take a straight bus no 23 from Fira town and you arrive there in 30 mins. Best to go early morning. Stunning view... finish the trip with a restaurant by the seaside... wish we could be there longer.

It is a cool site to go and see it from across the way on top of the nearest hill. You need to do some steep walking but not much. The red and black volcanic rock beach is closed to the public, however you can...More

We found the Red Beach to be less than impressive up close. We had a vehicle so accessing anything on the island was easy. There are ways to access the beach but it is not recommended by locals because the risk of landslides. You can...More

Much better is by boat . It is posible by buss alsso , but all bus goes to Fira first , so you have a long drive , and long walking to the booth beach from bus station.

If you have mobility issues, you may have a hard time seeing the beach from above also. It was a walk out to it on uneven pathways.

its just 5-10 mins walk down the hill. You can definately do it with sandals or flip flops but you will be more confortable with sneekers.
