Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fun experience! We got little buckets of seeds and lettuce to feed the animals. Some animals were outside (llamas, alpacas, a donkey, sheep…) and some in the stable. All animals had info about them and what treats they can have. I really likes our visit, it made me smile 😊 I don’t think I have ever pet or fed a llama before 😂🦙

It cost 9e for an adult (5e if you also went for a horse back riding tour). You get food for the animals to feed and there is information about each animal and what they like to eat. The animals were very friendly and they seemed happy and well taken care of. We also took the horse back riding tour (doesn't matter if you do or don't have previous experience) and the horses where calm and obeyed the instructions easily. Nice place to spend few hours!

We choose this to spend time with teens in the dark. Nice idea, views were funnier to explore on a horse. We know how to ride so we hoped for more speed but it was not possible. Only afterwards on the field, which was unfortunately snowy and slippery.
Anyhow it was a great experience. Prices were also very modest.

This is a very small domestic animal farm. You see rabbits, ducks, chickens, cats, goats, alpacas, sheep and horses here. You may feed most animals but not horses. You get some animal food when you buy a ticket. You may also go inside many fences, e.g. the pens of sheep and alpacas. For an extra fee you may even ride a horse. They also have some old tractors in their shed. However, this isn't any stylish exhibition. Tractors are surrounded by all kind of old stuff. The farm is small and their cafeteria is extremely small. You can rent rowing boats, electric boat engines, fishing tackles, bikes, disc golf discs (frisbees) and hobbyhorses there.

The highlight of this farm for me is the sheep! I am obsessed. I had no idea sheep could be so loving. They actually come and stand/sit very close to you like you're part of the group and don't seem to want you to leave. It was very therapeutic i felt very included.

Our 2,5 year old son loved sitting in a real big tractor the best. And he love feeding the bunnies and sroking the sheep. There were chicken everywhere too.

Our 3 year old son was trilled about the place. Animals to feed and meet, including owners collection of "massikka" farm equipment from ~1930's and onwards. 9 your old daughter had seen most of the animals bt enjoyed the place never the less.
A bit more costly than other farms we have visited, but it's more and better organized set up.

I love the whole idea of Tahko Farmi as it is not just indoor zoo but also an outdoor zoo in summer. You can have a pony ride there and go on a tour in Islandic horses. There is an exhibition of transport in the barn nearby. The hostess gives visitors special food for animals. There are pigs, goats, sheep, alpaca, chicken...It was not too crowded and if animals can walk outside in summer it is fantastic as I always feel pity for animals in contact zoos in Moscow. It is more of a farm than just a contact zoo. The scenery is wonderful and it is close to Tahko ski slopes so it is a great adventure for kids!
