Nice church, went there on a horse ride, I reccomend Harriet's Horses. A very nice ride, you see all the view and the village from the top. The church is in the top of the hill facing Hydra's town. A really unique view of Hydra from up there.

This is a lovely small church that obviously has seen some very deep prayer. In addition to the beautiful interior, it has a strong vibration of silence (hesychia in Greek) accumulated from a long history of prayer and meditation. It made us want to sit and practice meditation for some time. This would be a lovely respite from a day... More

Hydra (pronounced surprisingly as Heedra), is one of the smallest inhabited Greek islands and has no motorised transport. A short tender ride from the anchorage in the bay brought us to the town’s harbour, where we came ashore at the dock used by the fast ferry from Athens. The harbour had a mixture of fishing and leisure craft either tied... More

A lovely spot to enjoy on your visit to the island. There is a sheltered courtyard and a beautiful mosaic on the wall.

High above the city ,not easy to climb stands the church of St.konstantine. If you ever coinside to be on November 14th then you can see all the celebration that takes place at that day. St.Konstantine was born in Hydra island and died in Rhodes island. .If you want to visit the church during summer time try very early in... More

We went up to the church with Harriet Jarman of "Harriet's Horses". Even though we had hiked up to the church earlier in the day, we went again with Harriet and we're lucky enough to go inside this beautiful church. It was lovely sitting in the cool under the arches.

I have never see such a beautiful place. Unlike any church I have ever seen. You must take a few moments and just sit. Very special.
