Holiday drivers are a pain in the a*se but cars are banned from Summer 2018 leaving it free for us cyclists. What bliss.

Be courageous to visit it but not in the highseason; the road is difficult with many narrow windings and busy traffic of all sorts, the barriers are sometimes poor on the cliffs, so be careful! The views are breathtaking; Nice trip, but ventursome and risky.

We kind of found out the hard way about the journey there. It is long, with very narrow winding roads that seem to go up and up. What with oncoming traffic as well, it can be a very scary drive at times, even when you get there it will require parking on a hill and then a 3 point turn... More

The view from the the lighthouse and indeed at several places on the way up is fantastic. My advice would be not to take the comments about the road lightly. We went in April - not high season and the roads were busy then with cyclists, buses, walkers and cars and this is not a route that you want to... More

I absolutely loved our little trip to Cap de Formentor. Along the road from Port the Pollenca are a couple of viewpoints but I liked Mirador del Mal Pas the most. It offers a gorgeous view over the sea and the cliffside. We also watched the sunset from the view point and it was gorgeous. I would not recommend booking... More

We were looking for Formentor beach, when we took a wrong turn and it went round and round and higher and higher, tiny windy roads all the way up.You had to go right near the edge, and the drop was horrible. There was barriers on some of it. On the other side of the road you had to drive really close to... More

Beautiful drive and views. The GPS was suggesting a 30 mins drive from port de pollenca, unfortunately the road is full o cyclists and it took us almost 2 hours to get there. The building is now great but the views are just incredible.

What an amazing place! The views are spectacular at any of a dozen tiny parking areas, which are almost impossible to get a spot at on a busy day. So just drive until you find one, stop and walk around... Or bicycle. You'll have plenty of company. Or come on a rainy weekday in December.

Don't go unless you enjoy crazy mountain roads. It's half an hour of pure stress driving around the tight roads, avoiding the cyclists and when you get there, there's a cafe and a view. Save yourself a couple of hours and do something else!
