I was really surprised by Tanagra. While I knew that Lourens from Arendsig, made the wines for Tanagra, I had no idea that they also had a number of different grappas that they make. I really enjoyed the orange liquor. Robert was very informative, and it really was a very different but pleasurable experience

We just stopped by for a wine tasting and were looked after by Robert who very patiently guided us through his quality wines and Eaux de vie. Many thanks for the personal attention! This boutique farm is very pretty and peaceful and only slightly blemished by the proximity to the main road.

Good wine and grappa, nice people, beautiful farm and surrounding, most definitely a perfect recipe to visit this wine farm. The accommodation is also beautifully done and a place where you can really relax, be romantic and recharge your batteries..

Interesting little winery on the way out of McGregor. It has a Grappa Distillery attached to the winery. worth a visit for something different :)

We've been coming here consistently and I'm sure nothing will change. We always stay here at least once a year and all my previous reviews have been about the accommodation, which I might add is always top notch and you simply don't get this value for money, high quality places, any more. This review is going to be about their... More

Once again, a lovely escape to McGregor for a stay at Hill Cottage with delicious Tanagra Cabernet Franc. Thanks so much to Anette & Robert!

The quaint village of McGregor is reason enough to visit this part of the world, but we had the good fortune to stay at Tanagra wine farm in a beautiful cottage far away from other accommodation. The cottage is beautifully minimalistic, yet comfortable and stylish. We were planning to explore the area but could barely tear ourselves away from the... More

We are so glad we made a special effort to visit this boutique wine farm. Initially I had spoken to Anette on the phone about accommodation but they were fully booked, but she suggested we visit their wine farm while staying in McGregor. It was well worth it. Glenda and I agreed that Anette is the friendliest German we have... More

We spent a very interesting morning tasting their range of wines and grappa. Nothing was too much trouble and were an interesting couple to talk to. Lovely wines
