With snow on the mountains behind Genadendal a brisk walk down Main Street from our weekend stop brought us to the morning market . It was back in its old spot with the stalls rebuilt after the fire. Two hours of fun with good food...More

Not a very big market but nice items. Fresh farm veg, second hand books, decor, biltong and lots of sweet treats. As there are only around 20 stalls I wouldn't suggest making a trip only to visit the market, but if you are in Greyton...More

A must to visit when you’re in the area. Lots of local artisan goodies! Be aware you will buy lots of superb cakes and cookies!! Kids enjoyed the horse ride in the cart.

Only open from 10-12 we bought vetkoek, koeksuster donuts, pancakes, cheese, quiche and more. Very decently priced. It was over a long weekend and very busy. Small market. Had a lovely time.

Sure, there are always pancakes at markets like these...but these were special. Fillings of chocolate, cinnamon-sugar and honey, and lemon curd (personal favourite) were all great... with the pancakes themselves simply delicious 😋. Yum...its now Sunday morning and I'm wondering were I can get more......More

A great little food/craft market. There are also horse and cart rides avalible to travel through the town. Get there early to avoid disappointment.

Filled with home-made food and crafts to delight all. Paintings done by the local artists and creative woodwork, truly inspiring, set with majestic mountains as a background.

We always love going but it is becoming stale and needs fresh stalls and produce. It could be the most magical market in the cape with some planning and marketing! Still, we always find a wonderful homebaked item or goodies.
