è un piccolo museo archeologico che conserva reperti anche
dell'età del bronzo e di scavi effettuati in diverse cortine dei paesi limitrofi ( gradisca di sedegliano ,muscletto ,iutizzo ecc)

Un altro volto di Codroipo

Vale la pena entrare nel museo, vicinissimoalla chiesa di Santa Maruia Maggiore. A Codroipo la storia si riduce a Villa Manin, ma, senza togliere nulla alla splendida villa, ci sino altre cose da scorprire: le tracce preistoriche, i resti dell'età romana, gli interessanti rilievi su ciò che probabilmente il territorio ancora nasconde sotto il terreno coltivato.
Il museo non è molto grande e non richiede molto tempo per la visita. I custodi (volontari) sono molto gentili e lieti di parlare a persona interessate. Peccato che i visitatori non siano molti. Spero che sempre più Codroipesi trovino la voglia di entrare nel museo.
