We visited the current exhibition of the spanish painter Joan Miró, which runs until mid of April 2016. It is really well curated and very informative. This show can be highly recommended

The Villa Manin is very large, impressive from the outside and under restoration for a good part. What is open to the public is a shell used to display temporary modern art shows. The current show is about the Spanish artist Miro. As an exhibition it is well documented and displayed. Miro himself is an bit of an acquired taste but... More

Villa Manin is a beautiful location near Codroipo. The villa itself is open to the public and there is a permanent display of historic carriages that is free to the public. There is a tourist information desk there which supplies useful maps and guides to the surrounding area in various languages. The villa is often the site of special events... More

It is amazing how close to Slovenia is Villa Main in Passariano. You just pass Palmanova and Gonars with its tragic history. Parking is not far from the complex with huge yard, protected with arcades. On the other side of the road is huge palace. Even before entrance you have average museum with some carriages on ions side and unexpressive... More

I celebrated my 65th birthday with 17 of my friends and we visited the astonishing villa. We went round the whole of the house and the exhibition of clothes worn from past films. It was a wonderful experience enjoyed by all. Recommended for a visit.

I'm very happy in how they have changed the place, when I was little my grandmother used to take us to tea with the Manin. It was a little daunting. So when it was turned into a museum, I nervously went to visit but I needn't have had any fears, they have done a wonderful job. And every Christmas, we... More

We've seen many different shows here over the years and today saw the "Trame di Cinema", costumes and history of the Oscar-nominated costume designer Danilo Donati, who designed for Fellini, Pasolini, Zeffirelli, etc. Clips of some of the movies were shown, (dubbed in Italian) like Taming of the Shrew, with Taylor & Burton, and Richard Burton's costume was there. The... More

ANY concert played here is a must to see. There is nothing like it. Stayed in Trieste and trained and bused to this venue. Well worth the trip.
