Absolutely stunning beach - completely deserted when we were there . Advise heading there in the morning as by the time we got there in the afternoon the sun had nearly disappeared due to the high cliffs . Well worth the dramatic short cliff side...More

Bit of a drive and a trek down to the beach but my goodness it is worth it. Just picture perfect, the black Sand is totally amazing! The views and the sea looked beautiful. It is basically a walk down a cliff, it is ok...More

This beautiful black sand beach is not for swimmers as there are many strong dangerous undertow currents. BUT, it is great for surfing or just relaxing! To get there, you have to drive down through banana plantations to a spacious car park. Then stroll down...More

Not sure how far exactly, but it must be at least half a mile from the parking lot to the beach. Well worth the effort. You'll pass an interesting cave on the way in. The path along the cliffside is mostly paved with stone steps,...More

Visited on a rough stormy day with big rollers coming in off the Atlantic. Can see the attraction in the summer as very secluded location and a walk round the cliff path to get to the beach. We enjoyed watching the Barbary falcons hunt from...More

Stunning beach amazing cliffs, but steep drive to car park and steep walk down to beach. Also very strong undertow so did not feel confident to swim. Would need to check that out further.

I'm not a beach lover but this one...stunning! I loved the winding, twisty road leading down to the beach. Like every other road there, it's narrow and steep. But it's also beautiful. It opens into a large parking lot. There was only 1 other car...More

This place is just wow!! Such incredible pathway leading to such an amazing beach. The softest sand ever - like walking on black talcum. It was too windy to stay so didn't sample the water but such a lovely hour or too spent exploring -...More
