Nice boat trip and we see 3 whales close by. Boat is comfortable, not to much people and good info. The only thing we didn't like was the fishing on the way back. I think If you fish every tour the fish population is going to decrease rapitly and this is not good for everyone. Please skip the fishing!

We had a great time on this tour. We found whales within the first 30 mins, and spent an hour or so watching them, sometimes getting very close. Once we finished the boat stopped next to an island and we spent 20 mins fishing. The entire group caught about 15 fish. On the way back our guide cleaned the fish... More

We traveled to Iceland and were in the north near Akurevi. We drove up the Eyjafjordur Fiord to Dalvik and took the ½ day whale watching trip offered by Arctic Sea Tours. We had a great time and the crew were excellent and very friendly. After hours of successful whale watching, we were all treated to fishing. When we returned... More

Whale watching in North Iceland is wsy better than in south, Reykjavik area. There just are more whales here and also more big kind of whales like humpbacks (vs minkys). Arctic Sea Tours has included 15 min of fish angling for those who want, and its grilled upon landing and all can eat some. You get a better deal that... More

It was a beautiful, sunny day and we saw lots of whales as well as birds and other sea life. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This company seems to know what they're doing and passenger comfort is important to them. At the end of the tour, they put fishing poles out and lots of people caught fish which the company grilled... More

It's cheaper in Dalvík than in Husavik or Akureyri and you get more: The boat is bigger while the groups are smaller compared to the other companies. After the Whale Watching everyone gets the opportunity to try out fishing for a couple of minutes, the freshly caught fish gets cut immediately and you can try it after the staff grilled... More

While the weather wasn't the best and the seas were running a bit high it was a very memorable experience. They provide warm jumpsuits to wear over your regular clothing and also ponchos to protect from the rain and splash. I was quite comfortable. Bring gloves!! There is seating but if the seas are rough you need to hang on... More

I've done whale watching in Alaska as well as the California coast , but this is one of the better tours . As others mentioned you see whales galore on this tour. they give you very warm head to toe jackets. the waters were calm. they also give you cocoa and pastries while on board. shortly before docking they allow... We decided to choose Arctic Sea Tours out of Dalvik because they seemed to be the only ones to offer whale watching and fishing. We were glad we did. We seen several Humpbacks all around us and got some great pictures. Then after a couple hours our captain stopped the boat and brought out the poles for anyone that wanted... More

We went on the 11:00 trip and just before our tour the weather turned for the worst. It was super windy, and wavy. We were a little worried the tour would be postponed, but no, we went out as planned. A little weather didn't discourage the captain. The waves getting out to open ocean were huge, and you had to...
