The Mount Usher Garden was created by four generations of the walpole family spanning a period of 115 years commencing in 1865. The garden is home for 4500 species of trees.

Time stands still as you wander around. Easy to get lost but that doesn’t matter as every view is incredible

Hi Mary. The question has already been answered, but yes, there is a charge. I would also recommend the cafe - nice atmosphere

Not specifically sure, but Avoca are fairly renowned for good quality food, so should be able to offer something...

I believe kids can enjoy themselves a lot in the garden, it is sort of wild, so they can run around without worrying about stepping somewhere that would not be so suitable.....
