Enjoyed an autumn walk in mount usher gardens and a lovely lunch in Avocado cafe. Such a nice way to spend a day outdoors. A very special place.

I have seen this garden in spring, summer and fall and there's always something new and beautiful in the way the trees and gardens look. And Avoca Cafe is just beside it, for whoever wants a little treat too. Definitely worth a visit.

Along a small river stretches this lovely garden, a transport of delight. A mature selection of trees, shrubs and plants with many lovely views. Benches are placed at regular intervals. I visited on a beautiful day. Next time I get around here I'll visit again!

Although the website leads with a picture of a colourful herbaceous border, the gardens main highlight is a wonderful arboretum with a forest and river trail along the River Vartry featuring 88 specimen trees, many of which are very rare and unusual. Some of the...More

We’ve such good memories of here from visits years ago. On our return we were not disappointed. Gorgeous walk, great literature that makes your dander so easy. Al helped by glorious sunshine. We’re already planning our return.

Whilst less impressive (and less well known) than Powerscourt, this garden took us by surprise as it is very well maintained with nice scenery along the river. Many flowers and trees and all well presented. A very nice 1-hour walk through this garden (park) and...More

We were visiting with our toddler and had the buggy with us in the garden. Some steps but I think it always was an option to take a different path without steps.
