A giant puzzle

The Burren is very near the Cliffs of Moher, so if you´re driving by your own, you should make a stop here.
This is a peculiar shore with cracked stones, like a giant puzzle. Few tourist were in this place, compared with the huge hordes of the cliffs.
It reminded me of some seashores in the Galapagos Islands.

An important part of the landscape

This is an unusual looking coast with all the rock formations. We also saw the rock walls built by hand so long ago and piles of turf that are ready for burning for heat. Very interesting

This is a dramatic, unusual landscape with winding, narrow roads and quaint, welcoming towns! Go walk on the rocks by the beach! They are just so cool! We actually stayed in Doolin ( Piper’s Rest - great experience!) and really enjoyed the music at McDermotts. Nothing is over built or touristy- it’s just the beauty of Ireland!

This is such an enjoyable walk. Trying at times but very enjoyable. Well worth a few hours out of your day.

A Lovely Drive

The area almost appears to be volcanic and is quite spectacular. Parking is easy at various cutouts but do be careful as you can get very close to the ocean

The whole drive on the pacific way was indeed pretty stunning! When we stopped on the Burren, we found a very beautiful scenery!! You'd better take a short walk (mind your steps and keep a bit away from the waves) in here to enjoy it fully!!
